As the current year draws to a close we would like to thank you for the many great #FlySWISS moments you have shared with us. To show our appreciation we are launching a special Instagram promotion for our loyal followers in December. Six Instagramer of the Month will present attractive pictures for your enjoyment between 01.12.2014 and the end of the year. But that’s not all. The #FlySWISS followers have the opportunity to participate in a contest. Read on for everything you need to know about our December Instagram promotion, contest participation and our Instagramers.
Over the next four weeks our six Instagramers will be uploading photographs related to two major themes. The first theme is exterior shots of our SWISS fleet and runs from 01.12.2014 to 14.12.2014. The second theme focuses on images of food and beverages on board our SWISS flights, and our highly popular SWISS chocolate. This phase starts on 15.12.2014 and ends on 31.12.2014. As usual, the photos will carry the hashtag #FlySWISS, but for the promotion they will also be labelled with a second hashtag: #MySWISSmoment.
Taking part in the contest is easy. The first thing you have to do is follow SWISS on Instagram. Then upload a photo of your own that corresponds to the specifics and themes of our Instagramers and label it with the hashtags #FlySWISS and #MySWISSmoment. To be eligible for the contest, you must upload the appropriate images with both hashtags.
The following attractive prizes are available: a pair of vouchers for SWISS flights in Europe (Economy Class, excluding charter flights), one A330 model aircraft with a scale of 1:120, and one SWISS amenity kit. The three most creative and beautiful photos will be selected as prize-winning entries.

Thomas Gross: I was Instagramer of the month in September. Last summer I upgraded my skills to become Maître de Cabine Europe and for the past year I have been responsible for cabin crew leadership on short-haul routes.

Kristina Roder: Kristina has been a SWISS flight attendant for the past two and a half years. Her favourite destinations are Hong Kong and San Francisco. Christian Schupfner: I have been an enthusiastic flight attendant with SWISS for more than ten years now. Each day is enlivened by my motivation to see the sun and handle the constantly changing challenges of this fascinating line of work. Since 2012 I have been “on tour” with SWISS as a Maître de Cabine Europe, which gives me the opportunity to live out my passion every day.
Guillaume Defrance: My name is Guillaume Defrance I am 28 years old and based in Geneva. My current job as Maître de Cabine on short-haul flights mainly involves being in charge of the cabin crew on board and ensure that the service excellence of SWISS is represented on my flights. I speak French, English, Portuguese and Russian and looking forward to take amazing pictures of my daily life in the skies.
