Dear SWISS Family and Friends,
My name is Kerstin, and I was born and grew up in the lovely city of Vienna. At the tender age of 22, I can also list Los Angeles and Milan among the places I have called home. I graduated from an Austrian school that specialises in tourism and industry in the summer of 2016. After that I began my career with SWISS.
I’ve now been a proud crew member for about 2½ years, and looking back at that time I can say it was extremely eventful, lively and inspiring. I can be found on board the entire SWISS Airbus fleet and on our flagship, the Boeing 777. Most of all, I like flying the long-haul transatlantic routes to destinations such as New York, Miami and Montreal.
Since the autumn of 2018 I have been a Cabin Crew on Board Instructor, in which role I introduce my colleagues to their new activities on the aircraft at the end of their time with Lufthansa Aviation Training.
For the month of February, I now have the unique experience of offering you an insight into my exciting life as a SWISS flight attendant and telling you what exactly it means to have “kerosene in your blood”.
I am looking forward to seeing familiar and new faces again, either on board or virtually on Instagram!
