Joseph Bloch, the lucky winner of 4 tickets in our Seats for Switzerland promotion, contacted us following his family’s trip to Tel Aviv. We were profoundly moved by his story “My Grandfather in Israel”.

Although a few months have passed in the meantime, our trip to Israel remains very much in our thoughts. How wonderful it was for us and our grandfather to be able to embrace each other once again and spend a few days together. This reunion brought us solace as we mourned the passing of our grandmother. We met every day during our visit and enjoyed each other’s company for many hours during this time. For this lovely experience we offer SWISS our heartfelt thanks.
Eight months have now passed since our visit. Sadly, our beloved grandfather passed away in April of this year. He was fully aware right up to the end and always grateful that we had been able to visit him. I was fortunate to have been in Jerusalem on business for two days in the week before his passing, during which I visited him again briefly.
We are left to treasure the wonderful memories we have of our grandparents. I am hopeful that I will soon be able to visit their grave in Jerusalem.
In closing, my wife and I, and in particular our two children, wish to say that we will remember for the rest of our lives the visit with grandfather/great-grandfather that was made possible thanks to Seats for Switzerland. Thank you so much!
